Price
The
price of music (including the PPL, MCPS, PRS royalties) is £11.25
per site per week for single site operators, or £9.95 per
site for multiple operators. There is a low user tariff of £7.95
for a resident library of 5000 tracks with updates of 80 tracks
per month.
The standard monthly update will feature 120-160 tracks per month
over 4-7 albums depending on what is being released at the time.
Obviously the record companies release more albums in the lead
up to Christmas than mid summer ... so updates are dependent on
what is available.
You
will be invoiced monthly in advance effectively giving you 30
days to settle the invoice, preferably by bank transfer.
In
accordance with the PPL dubbing licence we have to inform the
PPL of all juke boxes operating with music supplied by Rock it,
and details of installation and withdrawals dates. If your site
is closed for a period, or your machine has been removed for any
reason, with sufficient notice you will not be invoiced for that
period and the same information will reflect in our return to
the PPL.
Administration
ROCKit
is a VAT registered (sole trading) company. Sites and Operators
are invoiced monthly, payments from single sites are on Standing
Order only, and operators have a 30-day payment period.
The
various licensing authorities require quarterly returns on music
supply, sites receiving it, size of library, and details of updates.
Music
(and Karaoke) updates are done monthly and are sent out either
by CD Rom update or USB memory stick. All the manufacturers we
are working with have the technical facility to update via broadband
connection. However, for logistical and practical reasons this
service is not currently available.
